A three vehicle accident occurred around 5:45 pm this afternoon on Highway 74 West.
Kendra Nash of 4473 Highway 74 was traveling westbound in a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and attempted to turn left into the driveway of her home.
Nash pulled into the path of a 2002 Toyota Tacoma pickup traveling eastbound driven by 42 year old
Stacy Becerra of Pitts Drive.
The third vehicle involved, a 2006 BMW X-3 driven by 18 year old Haley Hirsh of Macon was traveling westbound when the Grand Cherokee was knocked into her path by the impact.
Kendra Nash suffered an injured ankle but refused transport by Upson EMS, a passenger and an infant in the vehicle were not injured. Becerra was alone in the pickup and was not injured although the airbag did deploy.
Hirsh is a student at Auburn University and was on her way to school, her father was a passenger in the BMW and was not injured.
The Thurston Fire Department, Upson County Sheriff’s Department and the Georgia State Patrol responded to the accident.
