A Savannah skydiver, 24 year old Joshua Robert Peterson, suffered a leg injury Saturday afternoon after making a hard landing near the entrance to the Solo facility on Del Ray Road. He was transported to Spalding Regional Medical Center by Upson EMS.

Deputies have taken two warrants for Jason Hill, 38, of 1625 Roland Road for theft of electricity from Upson EMC. The meter had been tampered with and by-passed twice. Hill fled out the rear of the dwelling when deputies arrived to arrest him.

Theft reported at 615 Fire Tower Road, a tenant moved out of a house and the owner discovered that the central air conditioning unit was missing along with a 4X4 trailer, a mobile home hitch and an antique bicycle, the total value of all the items is $6,520.00.

Air conditioning unit valued at $5,000 reported stolen at 143 Church Road, the vacant property is owned by the Bank of America.
