The Thomaston-Upson County School Board held it’s regular monthly meeting Tuesday night, the board approved the fiscal year 2012 budgets to be advertised. The proposed budget indicated a shortfall of $2,571,721.00. The budget can be viewed HERE.
Also on the agenda was the first reading of a revised medication policy and approval of a resolution for a new five year facilities plan completed the new business.

The board designated November 21st and 22nd as furlough days for all personnel that work over 190 days.
The board approved the appointment of Enrique Ralls and Tammy Phagan as assistant principals at the high school.
